David has been shoeing for over 30 years with extensive experience with Race Horses, Clydesdale's, Ponies, Hacks & Eventers and is now ready to share his knowledge with at his farrier learning center.

David believes that a good farrier is also a horseman that needs to understand the horse and the way it thinks and moves, to ensure that unnecessary stress is not put onto the horse.

Ensuring that the hoof is prepared to balance the horse correctly is a key part of farriering, if the hoof is not dressed correctly then injury and soreness will be the result.
